3/07 Move In: Very nice staff. Beautiful & well kept anemities. Apartment very clean. Resident dog defecation areas about every 30 steps, fecal odor tremendous in areas when walking property, don't walk off sidewalk! Entire complex under canopy of trees, do you value your vehicle paint' Permanant damage will occur in a week. No motorcycles allowed but 3rd day in two weeks that have been awoken to leaf blowers. Speed bumps WOW!!! whoever planned these was obsessive compulsive. Grilling on balconies, great for the preparer, not so good for the tennant on balcony above COUGH COUGH close your doors and windows (structure is wood, can't be safe, is it legal') Overall not happy, but others are very happy, it all depends on how you live and what you like and don't like. Apartment living is also new to me.

5/24/07 Update after 3 months: Only day off, work some nights, 0900 awoken again by an army of hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, weed eaters, lawn mowers and barking dogs/screaming kids (but motorcycles to noisy to be allowed)! God I have died and the new world is dominated by small engines! Go to the pool to relax, the army resides there too as well as unsupervised kids. They are making forts out of lounge chairs, they won't give em up without an argument, then they make more noise and become more unruly, you have to leave. No place to relax. Most of my days at home are like this. Have to leave and go to a park to get some quiet time.

The apartment inspection list is supposed to be turned in the next day, obviously at first sight all is nice and clean looking. Days to weeks to months you start seeing things that are not acceptable: You use the oven for the first time and $30 of lasagna is ruined because oven cleaner was applied and not cleaned out. Folding utility door tracks are full of dog food, the ants then come from everywhere, had to throw away about $100 of dry pantry goods. The space between appliances full of animal hair grease and God only knows what! Stains leaching up from the carpet padding to the top of the carpet, probably animal related.

This happened two times: just showered, dressed nice for work, heading out to vehicle to go to work and step in the fresh dog doo, what do I say! I have seen hundreds if not a thousand people walking their dogs/and defecating in three months. I have seen only 2 people pick up their dog feces. Management probably does not have a clue how many dogs reside here. I have seen one person walking 4 dogs (big dogs), can you imagine living in that apartment later on'

Short term lease almost up, can't wait to leave. Gotta sleep in!
