AVERAGE RATING

I've lived here for a little over a year now and simply love it. I'm in a small apartment with my wife, and although this is our first apartment we simply wouldn't even consider moving elsewhere. Since we've moved here I've read pretty much nothing but negative reviews of the place and simply cannot understand them. Maybe the other side of the complex is worse than the side I live on or something, but the 1/1 buildings are great. You occasionally hear people stomping or the faint sound of a dog barking, but nothing that's ever kept me up at night. Maintenance is fantastic; every single time something has broken and I've called them, the problem is fixed within 24 hours, and it's fixed right the first time. The grounds are well maintained and the entry way is nothing short of beautiful. The buildings themselves seem to have average apartment home construction. Our power bill is quite reasonable and the inclusion of water/trash/sewer/pest control in the rent helps quite a bit in keeping the bills down. We've had minor roach and ant problems, but once we cal the office and the pest guy comes, the problems go away within a few days. Honestly I think as long as you live in a community home you cannot get away from roaches, as there's no way to regulate how others around you live. The office staff has always been courteous and friendly, and they give you an air filter every month for no additional charge. I've met with Jane a number of times and she's always been friendly. I've been quite surprised with the comments I've seen on here about her, as it seems it's always from someone who's missed their rent multiple times, for a long time or is doing something else against the contract they've signed.
The only complaints I have are fairly minor and can be overlooked with a little bit of patience. The community trash compactor gets full quickly simply because people are too lazy to press the button to compact it. People, PLEASE press the button, it really isn't hard. There is no recycling station, which makes it inconvenient to recycle anything. Noise is annoying, but like I said before it's nothing that's ever kept me up at night. I've never been able to understand anything that someone in another apartment has been saying, only stomping, banging and the occasional barking. Parking gets on my nerves if you show up late, at least at my building. Most buildings seem to have ample parking, but mine is sort of situated in the corner as as such all of the parking is cramped and there aren't as many spaces as there need to be. There's also a boat/trailer parking in my section and that makes it even harder to find spots at night.
Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to live. There are great amenities that I really never use, but they certainly are available, and it's about as nice as I can imagine apartment living being without paying a ton of money per month.

I am so happy for YOU. however, you might be living in the only good area in that property. I was considering moving there last year, the staff were nice, but who wouldn't be if you are trying to get people to move there. You do not see what I see because it's only you and your wife. But when you have kids, you will see that it's unsafe to have a gated community and paying so, and the gates don't work. The dark areas all over the complex at night, which makes it easy to get rape, robbed, or worst. there are a lot of car violations in that complex. To tell you the truth, I did not have to read all the negative comments to make my decision to run before signing anything. It only took a couple of visits at night, my husband and I drove around the property and saw people doing drugs in the dark areas and staring at us as we were driving by. Good luck to you in your paradise.
