When we moved in this property it was owned by Post properties. We got a great deal and the staff was friendly and helpful. Ever since the property changed ownership however (it was bought by Jupiter) things have gone downhill. We didn't given "official" notice we were moving out in time (we verbally told them on the phone and figured they would have told us if they needed a written statement) and then they stuck us with a fee of $1200 for a one bedroom. Under new ownership our rent went up a lot, our water bill went up (they changed companies) and service went down.

I get this same story ( I did'nt know I had to give notice or why should I pay a term fee) Well if ther is no notice or fees to break a lease why would anyone sign a lease by a term of 7 to 12 months? Why not just a month to month? Think about it and read contracts before you sign.

The management is still the same but there is not one employee that is the same. Everytime I go to the office it is never the same people.

That's right. There is a remarkably noticeable difference since the change. Poorer security, poorer landscaping, poorer office service. Forget the gated community, the gates do not work. On the weekends, the complex is over run by fast driving, loud tail piped, young hispanic people, who have no regard for rules or manners.
