I have been a resident here now for 5 years. I have had excellent help with the staff, they did a criminal history check which makes me feel better about who is living here well suposed to be but nobody can help visitors. I was reading some of the comments people have written, I think you all have over reacted, some of you hung yourself by not reading and knowing what you were getting into. Some of you should not be in the apartment living, more like a house away from everyone else. and the safety here i think is quite alright, you cannot stop crime, crime is EVERYWHERE, its not that bad like u say, if u think so u should go back to your town of a population of 20 people and seclude yourself. ok im done, Barrington at mirror lake is a wonderful place to live they have so much activities going on, free aeorobics, community get togethers, food. its really a cool place to be, and i would recommend it to anyone that needs a place. I am a 6 year resident. The criminal back ground is not done anymore, nor has it been done since it has become barrington. Did you not know about the stolen truck and stolen equipment two weeks ago, how about the cars being broken into almost weekly. The staff does not returen phone calls. They always reply we wrote it up. Not one person in the office follows up on anything. Since it has become barrington, how do you like the scenic view on Mondays. (trash). I guess you don't go to many aeorobics classes because I used to go but then they didn't have classes a few times with no note on the door. I have been stuck waiting quite a few times for a class that is not going to happen. The gate is normally broken, I witness tenants cleaning up the trash around their building and on many occasions watching tenants clean their own walkways. I am wondering if you used to live in Section 8 housing, to think that Barrington is a great place to live. Where did you used to live???
