What was once beautifully maintained is nothing but an old broken down apartment complex. I am currently in my third lease with Barrington and since ZOM has taken over I will NOT be renewing...The first thing they did was fire the entire maintenance staff except for one person to increase their profits. It then took them four months to hire additional maintenance people. Meanwhile our dishwasher was leaking into the floor and after reporting it 4 times we stopped using it and had to wash all of our dishes by hand. Two months later they fixed it. Our garage door has been broken for a month, they have not fixed it, but they have plenty of money to groom the landscaping and paint the property so it looks nice for potential renters. One pool is closed for repairs at least 2 weeks out of every 4 in the summer and the dryers and work out machines are either old and worn out, or broken and just sitting there. The amount of bugs in my apartment have increased, there is rot on some of the buildings and no one wants to put money into the repairs necessary to maintain the community. The staff is nice though.
