If I give any advice it would be to never rent from Willow Lake! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Our first night in the apartment we met all of our OTHER roomates... the roaches. I wish we could have seen the apartment before we moved in. Whomever lived in the apartment before us must have been a filthy pig. Pest control came and we didn't have a problem for quite a few months; then when someone moves out of an apartment, you start to see them again! (I guess they don't have any garbage to feed off of anymore) Oh, and did I mention the garbage!' One dumpster is not enough for this large complex. On top of that, maintenance does not compact the trash and the garbage piles up 8 feet or higher on the weekends! Disgusting, smelly and not to mention UNSANITARY! It's no wonder we have cockroaches!! This place is a total wreck. Unless you like living in filth, please take this advice and go elsewhere. If you can't afford to rent any place else, file complaints with the city and the department of sanitation. You'll see the management jump when something needs to be done, I'm sure of it.

If someone needs to get something done about the major complaints of Willow Lake residents(overflowing trash, inadequate parking, pest problems, maintenance issues, etc.) contact -------------- with the corporate office... she is the regional manager of Willow Lake through the Wilson Company. The number is 1-813-288-8882 (dial ext. 648 to contact her directly) I've dealt with her personally on two occasions concerning management/maintenance issues and she was all over it. Management acted almost immediately. Don't be afraid to speak up if you have a problem and can't get people to do their jobs. "The squeaky wheel gets the oil" Hope this helps someone.
