With the new managment things really went down hill. the apartments suffered a rash of break ins and thefts. Twice my place was tareted but they couldnt get in the door thanks to my added security measures, however things were taken off the porch. I asked about security lights, none were installed, how about better locks' None Management said there were no brake ins or thefts other than mine. Funny the responding police officer told me otherwise. I ran into a guy chasing several ------- american males with a huge butcher Knife at 2 am who had tried to smash his sliding glass door and were yelling they would kill him and rape his wife. Maybe because the managers husband was in charge of security was the reason nothing was ever done or any failures admitted. My car was towed and impounded over a weekend because the office girl never entered it into the list. Despite the very limited parking my neighbor was allowed to leave his car in "storage" in one of the best parking spots for 10 months. Every year the rent went up and very little improvements were made. When it was time for us to move we went several time to the office to find out what needed to be done, every time we were blown off and told to come back later. We were billed a $550 fee from our $590 deposit for not notifying them in time, we tried to in 2 months advance. They still havent sent us the $40 remaining. The complex was the star of the local news trouble shooter series multiple times for not being military friendly and should be black listed by the military. A mile down the road there was a mass murder in mayport village. Form 0600 to 0800 and 1300 to 1700 forget about driving any where the traffic is terrible.
