I moved here from Atlanta in Jan, '07. Have lived in Mayport Landing since then. I have met my immediate neighbors and they are all cool and down to earth. These are privately-owned townhouse condos so it's a little different than an APT complex - better in my opinion. The construction of the units is top notch. Built in the early 1980's, I would say this place has a much higher build quality than most apartments. My roof had a leak in it but it was the original roof for my unit. Landlord had roof redone within 1 week of complaint. Concrete block walls separate each unit and you have your own gated entry to your townhouse. You also get your own yard and many of them are fenced off including mine. I searched through a TON of apartments in this area and most are sketchy at best. This neighborhood is definitely one of the better ones. The rent may seem high but these places are HUGE inside. Note: a lot of the review items may depend on your specific landlord so make sure he's on the up-and-up.
