Monterra is a gated community in Bonita Springs, which is immediately north of Naples, Florida. The community is typical of gated residential areas in the region. Some units are private condos, others are simply apartments, though by the tremendous size of each unit, you almost feel as though your living at a house. The community is made up of mainly working class professionals and retired people. A couple families with children are here to. It is generally quiet. Now and then you pick up the stray conversation of a passer-by, a car door shutting, or a dog barking. But nothing you probably don't experience living in a regular house somewhere. Management has been, in my experience, very quick to deal with any complaints or problems, and the maintenance staff is very attentive to details around the property. So for the pricing which is typical for south Florida, you do get a decent place to live. I have no complaints, I've been happy so far.
