This neighborhood is not protected by a security gate. There is an organized effort by thieves who are targeting Ashley Lake Park. They attempted to steal my car using a coathanger to unlock the door. The door has a deep scratch now...they were unsuccessful but left behind the coathanger next to the car......About three months later they stole a neighbors motorcycle....he came by to tell me about it since I too owned a motorcycle and parked it in the lot. About three days later they stole my bike as well. It had a large kryptonite lock around the front wheel. They just picked up the whole bike and threw it in a truck or on a trailer....The bike weighed about 500 pounds with a full tank.....There were no marks on the asphalt from dragging it. The sheriff who wrote the police report said that this neighborhood is not protected at all. So I went to a car lot and bought a used car about two days later. My salesman said that he used to live here and lost property to theft as well!
The management has informed us that they are going to paint all of the buildings.....the paint still looks fresh, so wouldn't you think that the tenants would be better served by a security gate'
If you own a trailer that will be stolen as well. Don't say you weren't warned! Needless to say I am moving when my lease has expired.
