We lived in Aventine for a little over nine months. After the new management took over, things went downhill very quickly. Regular maintenance is almost never done on the property anymore, and the entry gate is nearly always broken. Several calls to fix our air conditioner, a leaky water pipe, and a broken garbage disposal yielded only "we fixed it while you were gone" responses, and none of them were actually fixed. We've since moved out, and are still disappointed. We gave the required sixty days notice to break the lease and move someplace better, and have been moved out for nearly a month now. We're still trying to get Aventine to acknowledge that we're gone (though we're returned keys and they've signed off) and stop billing us for water, which they haven't done. Our latest response included "we have 213 units here, it's hard to keep track of everyone," and "just pay it, I'll look into it when I have time, and we'll credit you if we have to." I'd highly recommend finding someplace else to live, there are plenty of other nice places in this area for comparable rent.
