i have lived here for 5 years and in 5 years i have seen 3 managers come and go.
since this new manager carol has taken over the place has gone completely down hill. it seems to me maybe we have a slumlord for a owner now. the property grounds are kept terrible. this is the first unit i have never lived in that no one cleans the cat walk areas of the building each tenant seems to clean their own. the staff was finally fired thank god maybe with alot of luck the owner of this complex will sell out to someone who gives a ---- about senior citizens instead of having mass senior citizens abuse by the owner of this complex. he should be ashamed of himself. while he drives a $59,000.00 car and lives in the lap of luxury his tenents live like poor people in a harlem slum district.

I agree. I have lived here going on 6 years and after Carol (thank God she was fired) Constrution started. No notices were given they were coming in to take out windows, or anything else they have intruded on us for, except what is convenient for them. Like a prior day notice Which I got in the evening after work) to empty our fridges the next day and no time they would be coming, so our food could rot on the floor! I lost a day of work because of this. No one has given a hoot about the residents here, only their own personal agenda! The replacement appliances are junk. Put a bottle of water in the new fridge and the shelf sunk down! All the beautiful foliage was torn out and replaced with ugly yellow and green plants to match the buildings, and a lot of it dead already! EResidents have not had a club house for month either! We are paying full rent, getting rent raises, and do not have the amenities we are paying for. All the grass turned brown and now they are digging it all up, It is depressing looking out the window or driving through here. There are also numerous young people residing here, I see children leaving for school in the morning. This property is not what it was. The best manager we ever had here as long as I have been here was Margie. At least she cared about the residents. The only thing I love, is the waterfall in the front.

I lived at Marina Bay on Lantana Road before. We had 14 new managers in the four years I was there! Sweep your own area. No big deal. What on earth does a $59,000.00 car have to do with anything? Would Boynton Bay be better if he drove a VW? Fact is this is a great place to live, and if you could find better I bet you would have gone there sometime during those five (now six) years.
I had absolutely NONE of the troubles mentioned by Anonymous (9-17-08). Appliances are great. New foliage is beautiful. New grass is being laid as I write. I got notices in advance for everything that has been done so far. I eat out so I have nearly nothing in the fridge in any event. It takes time to build a new club house. It is great now. Go look at it. Well worth the wait! Find out where 'Margie' went - probably an opening or two there! Bye bye.
