I have to chuckle at most of the reviews. Either the people moved out a few years ago, or the management is writing the reviews themselves.
When I first moved in, it was wonderful. The tenants were a diverse crowd, but quality people for the most part. There were never any major issues. In the past 2 years, it has gone DOWNHILL QUICKLY and the management could care less. It is now @ 95% Haitians and other assorted scum. They are very loud, obnoxious, filthy neighbors. (Read the reviews on Banyan Lakesit's right next door and they're all coming here. If they don't live here, they just walk over and use the pool and other facilities.) They throw their trash all over and hang out in the parking lot talking Creole very loudly. They are very intrusive. They think nothing of having cell phone conversations in front of other peoples' apartments at 6 am on the weekends. They are just an inconsiderate group of people. The management has to be the rudest group of people I've ever encountered and they could care less about the declining quality of the tenants. There is always trash all over the grounds. It's really a shame because the grounds are beautiful, but the people moving in have no respect for the property or other tenants. The children run wild with no supervision. They scream, yell, shriek and cuss all over the place.
Consider yourself forewarned...If the place had been the way it is now, I'd NEVER have moved here!!!

Quote: "It is now @ 95% Haitians and other assorted scum" - so you're saying Haitians are scum? How nice.

you must have lived next door to me.

I don't think Haitians are scum but the ones that live here sure love to hang out in the parking lot, blast loud bass music, throw trails of trash and invite 20 people to live in their houses with them.

mappleby: If it makes you happy to twist my words around, go right ahead. Simply, I do not appreciate people who move in & take over; being disrespectful to everyone & everything in their path. My experience the past couple of years is that the Haitians are taking over and they are loud, dirty, obnoxious, inconsiderate neighbors. If you've had a different experience, please share it.
fedup: I hope you've been lucky enough to be able to move out of here. Unfortunately, I can't afford to move and I'm stuck in hell...

My husband and I feel the same. We were there 2 1/2 year ago. This guy moved in underneath us and would go out to his car blast his music and talk even louder on his cell phone, this too would happen at 7:00 am EVERY morning. Also, below us, I swear there was a family of 20 living below us.
After the hurricanes, we litterally had a tree branch through the bedroom window and the awning through the other window. Leaking celilings with brown spots everywhere! Funny, 5 minutes before FEMA came out to inspect our damages...maintence came and sprayed paint the walls and ceilings...oh yes...even FEMA gave us more money because they felt bad and knew we needed to leave that crap hole! Managment is horrible!
