We lived here for the longest lease available 18 months. I regret the over priced rent we paid for that long 1530.00 for a 2/2 is just crazy. Granted the apartment came with new appliances and stone counter tops and the community offers all kinds of classes and other perks that I never took advantage of. The unit had absoulutly no storage. The kitchen had a total of 4 cabinets. 2 were only big enough to store spices and such and each bedroom had 1 closet. Parking was a nightmare. The gate did not work for 17 of the 18 months we lived here. We had one mnt request the length of our lease for the air conditioning that was taken care of quickly. What made our stay here unpleasent was the property manager Courtney McGuire.
We had problems from the start due to huge clarical errors on her part that I am still dealing with upon our move out. If you move here DOCUMENT EVERYTHING WITH PICTURES AND KEEP ALL OF YOUR PAPERWORK HANDY. You will more than likely be disputing charges when you move out no matter what you do.
We asked what was expected of us for moveout and we were told clean the unit an do paint touch ups. We cleaned the unit really well; got paint from the office repaired our nail holes from pictures; painted over the repairs and any marks on the walls and baseboards. We had the carpets cleaned twice during our lease at our cost because we had a feeling that we needed to keep the rugs really clean to not have a problem at move out.
Well it didn't matter. Gatewayclub is trying to overcharge us for painting and carpet cleaning/replacment. Being seasoned renters we have images and reciepts to prove our dispute against our security deposit and have done such. If I could do it over I would have never moved here just because of the managment other than that it was ok but way over priced. We moved down the street for $800. less.

The managment at this place is awful! When we left they sent us a huge list of fees. We sent their attorney a very nice letter(sarcasm) about everything that went on during our stay. We never heard from them again after that!

We just moved out a month ago and the same thing happened to us. We had a cleaning lady clean our apt before we moved out and they still charged us for: caulking, painting, and cleaning. Out of a $900 deposit all we are getting back is $700. I wonder if others have had this problem and would like to get a suit started??

I am going to file a small claimes case next week. I made my dispute and the "corporate office" stated that we were responsible for fully repainting the apartment and that any wear on the carpet we could be held responsible. In the short of it they have not even sent a check for the money the were going to refund us and we moved out the end of January!
