My apartment full of mold and that so called manager ---- in office doesn't have a clue. They yes you to death but nothing is done.-------------------- ---- cant even keep her own life in order how can she manage ours... I heard she was ----------------------------. This place is rotting around them. If you like drug dealers as your neighbors and mold in your apartment this is the place for you. It seems the only people moving in are low life's who stay out in the streets all night hanging out. I am so glad that I am out of this gateway drug house.
They need to get there act together I feel sorry for the rest of the old time residents who are trying to get out....

I know what you mean. I have been in the office so many times, and ------the "manager" is no help - she just stares at you dumbly. I am almost out, thank God.

It's not only her, all of them in that office are like that, especially ----. Don't get me wrong, -----is cool and all, but the lights are on but no one seems to be home. What they don't want the residents to know is that the owner is trying to sell the complex. That is why he fired most of the maintenance staff, brings girls with little or no apt. management experience (they can pay them less) and why they're filling the place with who ever they can. They prefer the minorities with low credit scores because then they can charge them more in rent and they won't complain because they're happy they got into a decent place. All this greater profitability to a potential buyer.

I agree and i had mold in my apartment too. Thank god for ---------the old manager because she was the only that knew anything and cared about the people.

Just wait, the real fun starts when you move out. You can expect a list of "cleaning" charges that will eat up your securities.

If any of you lived with the mold you can see, remember about the mold you cannot see! I got very sick... paid doctors over 30,000 to make me better, I still suffer bad headaches and will be on meds for them forever we think! All because of mold!!!! please get yourselfs checked out! I thought I just had sinus issues!!! boy was I wrong once I moved away!

I have lived at the Gateway Club for 8 years and I can tell you that these negative reviews are coming from disgruntled ex-employees and tenants. I have been treated beautifully and my apartment is gorgeous...simply the best one I have ever had. I am now moving into an upgraded unit and ------has made this so easy for me and given me plenty of time, not only not cheating me but helping me and lowering my rent because I have been a good tenant here. My current apt is an unrenovated unit without a view and my new one will have a view, in the best building (where the models are) and cost me $25 less. I have no idea what anyone is talking about charges when they leave because my security deposit (which was only $100 to begin with) is being transferred. I haven't even paid rent at the new apt. I'm buying new furniture so I haven't been able to pick out the paint colors yet. I won't start paying until the painters come in. For those who attacked ------I can only say she is really helpful and I have looked at so many communitys in Boynton and none of them were anywhere near as helpful. Now, maybe it's because we have developed mutual respect but she has done everything to help me since I am disabled, older and given me a huge amount of time to move in incrementally. She even made phone calls for me to get me some help with the move since it's took much work for me. They take black mold very seriously and this rumor was put out by an disgruntled employee because she knew this was a serious matter. I have never heard anyone here complain about mold. There was a very rough patch here when the owner tried to go condo and it was a bad time here but they have weeded out the bad elements and there are legal matters they have to follow to get rid of people that don't belong here. However, they pursue that. I don't know why it's said that none of the staff lives here since 90% do and take pride in the community. So, if your thinking of moving don't let lies fool you. Every rental community has it's problems with undesirables but at Gateway they fix it as soon as possible if one gets in. Things happen everywhere but the level of concern is there for the tenants and not just when you move in. Again, I don't know how someone was told to spackle or paint, that's just a plain lie or pay to replace carpet....that is insane. There are pigs that may have been charged for damages made but normal wear and tear is expected. Since I have been here for 8 years they are doing an inspection but have been told it doesn't need to be perfect. I have even been allowed to paint and all I am being charged for is the primer. I am being given all kinds of help as far as having time to move and haven't even given them one red cent yet. I wouldn't be moving out of my old apartment except there it's not the best side of the property and I have wanted to move to the specific building forever. Problem was the one unit I wanted (since the other one was a model, upstairs) had a one tenant who never wanted to move. Due to the economy she could no longer afford it and that's the only reason she left. She sure didn't want to do that. Again, I have checked out over 30 complexes in this area from Boca to Boynton and I haven't found a nicer apartment. ------works for the tenants and is an advocate for us, not the other way around. She's not empty headed or all the other things she is accused of here. Remember these people have grudges. They are also so hateful that I wouldn't want to be them living with such anger that they lie about what it's really like to live here. It takes two to tango I would bet they weren't great people.
