I hated it here.

South Florida is a hard place to live. This apartment complex was no different.
I lived here for four years and each year the rent up and the quality went down. The second pool was NEVER clean. The public bathrooms there are disgusting. People get shot directly across the street.
The utilities here are EXPENSIVE. My electricity bills in the summer were never below $250.00 and I kept the thermostat at 78-80 degrees all the time. They air ducts were filthy and covered in mold (and they had the audacity to charge ME for that when I moved out).
The managers here are rude (no names need be mentioned - everyone on here did it for me already) and unaccomodating.
The parking lots are not safe. There was a series of tire slashing and break-in's that was going on for a while.
The carpets are the cheapest things I've ever seen. I vacuumed them 2 x a week and they still ended up stained and vile. They lifted and were worn down to the nails in places. On the day I moved in, right by the front door were exposed carpet nails that would always cut my toes. I finally covered them myself after getting no satisfaction from the maintenance.
On the day I moved out, the stairs leading up to my apartment collapsed from under me and several of my items were stolen from my porch from tenants when I was carrying garbage to their *always broken* trash compactors.
The wood on my balcony was rotting. The dishwasher was installed crooked and leaked.
I moved here as my first apartment and it was the worst place to live. Leaving this place was one of the best things I ever did. I only stayed because I didn't make enough money to save up for an entirely new deposit.

Everyone needs to check with the City Of Boynton Beach, Police Department before moving here. Since Greystar took over as the management company, the services have gone done. The model is the only thing that looks nice, not the apartment you live in. They tell you that they have washer and dryer connections in their advertising, but not true for everyone. The city of Boynton Beach has a ordinance in the Code section that states commercial vehicles over 1 ton are not allowed to park for more that 15 minutes. Since La Costa is considered a residential development. Look for youself and see the Illegal commercial vechiles parked here at night and on the weekends. If I were you I would rent elsewhere.
