Manatee Bay became our home recently after a very long move from up north. We absolutely love that we chose to live in Florida and these apartments along the water. We were unable to view the apartment prior to moving in. However, our apartment is very affordable and very spacious. Over 1200 sq feet for our 2-bedroom. The dining and living rooms are separate (I abhor just one big room for both that so many other apartments have). The kitchen is very large for an apartment. Both rooms, closets and bathrooms are a nice size and the master bedroom has a vanity, which is also unique. The balcony is a nice size as well and is fully screened in. It is large enough to place an outdoor table set and eat breakfast or dinner outside. This seemed to be one of the last rental communities along the intracoastal waterway that have yet to become a condo community. Besides Manatee Bay, I looked into Tuscany on the Intracoastal and Yacht Club on the Intracoastal...both are now only offering condos and any rentals are much higher in price than what we are paying at Manatee Bay. Since we are new to the area, we wanted to rent first to get to know the area before settling into owning a home or condo.

It is an absolutely beautiful gated community and it truly feels like a quaint resort. The office is extremely helpful and made our move very easy, comfortable and smooth. All of our neighbors have been very friendly. Since Manatee Bay has their own dock, it seems to attract more mature (not elderly) residents. It is a quiet neighborhood at all hours as well.

Before moving in here, I had read some of the negative comments people had written about Manatee Bay. My experience here disproves any claims of disrespect by the office, inappropriateness within the community, etc. This is a very safe community or I would never have moved my family here. Some people just prefer to whine and complain about whatever they can find, I assume.

The grounds are spectacular, the buildings and surrounding areas are kept clean and are well lit at nighttime. The marina is amazing...especially if you are from the northeast where apartments don't have as much to offer! The gym and pool are small, but it reflects the size of the community. This is a small, quaint community along the intracoastal.


My family and I go for walks all the time along the lake and up to the dock area. We have yet to use the pool, but the gym is never crowded and we have taken advantage of that! I would recommend Manatee Bay to anyone moving to Palm Beach County. What is interesting about Florida is that it has an abundance of beautiful apartment complexes that offer tennis courts, pools, spas, gyms, etc. What makes this one take the icing on the cake is the waterway. There is also a small private beach that you can walk on and a very nice nature preserve, which has some amazing tropical plants. I am completely happy with my decision and I plan to stay for a while. If Manatee Bay "goes condo", I'm buying without hesitation!

Read my comment about your idiocy. I love it here and I'm happy to be here with my family. Honestly, you must be a crack head to know exactly where they hang out in Boynton Beach. My apartment is always quiet? Perhaps you should speak with your neighbor and find out why s/he is noisy all of the time. Why not just move if you hate it so much? Or, at least try to make the best of it. The owner, Olen Properties, is a multi-millionaire with apartment complexes across the nation. Do you really think he's up at night writing on this web page? Why would he even care? Think about it and quit hanging out with the crack heads, man!
