They towed my car after telling me it was ok to park on the street

When we looked at the apartment, we asked about the parking because it's very limited. The staff told us we could park on the street,that it was allowed. Well that blew up in my face!! I WALKED OUTSIDE ONE MORNING AND MY CAR WAS GONE! They towed it and claimed that I was illegally parked- and I never received a notice. The staff was rude and not helpful whatsoever and never even returned my phone calls!! I had to drive 15 miles to get my car and pay a rediculous amount of money.
Bottom line is, they towed my car with no warning and it was parked right outside of my house.
