I never understood disgruntled people. What is the point' Perhaps there are ants because they are new construction. When the earth is moved, ants try to find a place to go. I have seen them spray outside. Pest control comes every week. How do you get rude office staff' They seem like a happy group to me. Perhaps they are not happy when people complain about things beyond their control' Have you taken a minute to get to know the staff' They are always trying to do things to better the community. I have seen the Management staff who live on site go after hours to the office to get packages for residents. The Manager, herself will go to someones apartment who left an iron on or to walk a dog if a resident won't be able to get home in time. Or to help an elderly resident walk to the bathroom when their ill. The Maintenance staff works after hours on issues that aren't even emergencies. Parking is only an issue because people are lazy and dont want to walk. There has to be enough parking, otherwise they wouldn't have been able to get a certificate of occupancy.

Well, hello Ms. Manager or member of the staff! Otherwise, how in the world would you know "The Manager, herself, will go to someones apartment who left an iron on or to walk a dog..." or "The Maintenance staff works after hours on issues that aren't even emergencies"? =] People complain when they are unhappy with what they are receiving for what they are paying. Regardless of there being construction, no one should have to deal with a continuous ant problem nor should they have to REQUEST their unit to be sprayed for a known issue. No one who lives here and who pays what we pay - in all honesty - should have to deal with overflowing dumpsters, cars being vandalised or broken into, people partying or hanging out in the streets til all hours, no one continously staffing the office during business hours, the facilities not being clean and up-to-snuff and available. All the excuses in the world could be made by Olen, Quantum Lakes, the staff, the Maintenance people, the elusive security guard(s), but in reality, we (the Tenants) are paying for a particular level of service and quality that should be constant and consistantly high, especially at Quantum. You imply it in all advertisements, at the time you show the complex and the units and while that lease is being signed. That promise of quality and service should be kept afterwards. When it is not is when the negativity ensues. You cannot claim that when YOU feel that you do not receive the quality or goods you expect for the money you pay - whether it be for a meal, clothing, or service of any kind - that your reaction is not negative or to complain.
