I have lived in a few apartments in my days and sandpiper is by far the worst hole I have ever endured. I will not be renewing and honestly wish I never came here. Sandpiper Cove...' They need to call this Pied Piper Cove! They pulled 8 rats from the attic within the first month of being here. They have started painting the exteriors and have chosen these god awful ghetto fabulous colors. Everything is run down from all the closet doors hanging off the tracks which are not fixable to the washing machine which was probably first installed 22 years ago when the apartments were built. The maintenance staff are incompetent however nice they may be and the office staff are just plain ridiculous. I have given both parties, lists of things that need to be fixed and they either lose the lists or fix one thing and call it a day with a job well done by their standards not mine. I have been promised more things here than I care to state, all for none of it to come to fruition. They allow big dogs here and less than half the neighbors clean up behind their dogs. The way the floorplans are you can't open the windows because everyone here evidently smokes and whether you open up the back windows, or the front windows you are bombarded by cigarette smoke from all your neighbors. Close the windows and it comes seeping thru the walls... literally. The bathrooms are horrid - small size, plastic lined creeky tubs, filthy grout... I had a leak that it took them a month to fix. I cannot wait to leave this hole. No matter how much you think you may be able to tolerate I guarantee you sandpiper will find that limit and cross that threshold. Do not move here.

and I moved in a month prior...I wish I saw this post before I moved here, too as you are absolutely correct on all issues. Let's not forget how many people don't uses leashes for their dog's. Only allow up to 2 dog's, not from what I can see in someone's ground floor apartment...they must have like 4 big dog's in there...not to mention, I thought Rotweiller's weren't allowed in here, yet I've seen one. Now to mention some of the OSHA violations: satelite cables running across common ground areas where you can trip and fall, sink holes, trash in the lake, trash around the property and doesn't every electical outlet near a sink, supposed to have a GFI outlet installed? I have a noisy neighbor upstairs and no matter how many phone calls I make, nothing is resolved. I hope I can get out of here by the time my lease is up and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!
