I lived here from 12/2003 until 6/2004. Like most apartments, the girls that work there couldn't have been sweeter when they were taking my lease and deposit. The day I moved in they became pretty nasty. I asked if they knew any moving service on Saturday since my help didn't show up. The comment i got was "that should be the person driving your truck". How smart. From that day on they were never any help. Once, I asked to see the exercise room and they were so busy on the phone trying to get a new renter, they refused to show it to me. There are paper thin walls and no insulation between the apartment floors, if you are on a ground floor, you WILL hear the people over your head going to the bathroom. My neighbors had jumping children and the adults marched 24/7 around the apartment, I could never figure out what they were doing, but I could never sleep. I complained about my neighbor's noise and they would never do anything about it. It was horrible and unrelentless. Finally, after months of it, I banged on the wall of that apartment and they complained about me and the manager from the apartments called me at work to confront me about it. I couldn't believe it. The ladies that worked there were the rudest and the apartment was the worst. Oh yes, my husband's bicycle was at our front door one night and it was stolen, this is a gated community. although they let anyone in who pulled up to the intercom.

Not for nothing, but being in this business you freaking residents dont understand yes we need to be on the phone with a new prospect, Because there soo on our asses about leasing you have no idea! so Sorry we cant always just DROP everything because you walked in the door, have a seat and WAIT like everyone else does, get OVER IT! and agian WE aren't responsible for Personal items that your stupid enought to leave outside un attended. and gates are courtsey gates, there NOT there to help keep your personal belongings safe, THAT'S one thing that I keep hearing in these reviews, I rented here because I saw Gates working, AGIAN PEOPLE GET OVER IT! there NOT going to keep criminals out, if someone wants to steal something, there going to come get it regardless!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bottom line is you are Responsible For you and YOUR things, Trust me if you weren't soo stupid, your life would be much easier there at Stoney Brook, it's a beautiful Community, so quit your bitching.

If you weren't so stupid "xstoneybrookrenterx", you wouldn't be working as a lease consultant. I guess you should have stayed in school. Maybe with some hard work and dedication you can make "fry guy" at Macdonalds.
