I just moved in about a month ago. All the people that I have talked to who live here are very pleased. I have seen their apartments and they look descent. I have dealt with the office staff several times before and after move in and they all have been very nice and professional towards me, my husband and my baby. I will not lie, I had some things that needed to be fixed when I moved in BUT the office staff where on top of it and had what I needed fixed fast! They did everything they said they were going to do and we are content with them. The girls in the office are great, they know my family by name (which are hard names) and we haven't been here long. Some of the comments on here are shocking to me and bother me. I feel they are being malicious towards this place and the people working there. If you don't like this place then move out or don't even bother coming here. I have lived at several apartment complexes and NOT one of them was perfect and I don't expect them to be. I use to live at Sawgrass Cove thinking it was going to be nice and they had nothing but garbage living in there.
I am pleased to be living here at Braden Lakes and have been recommending this place to my friends. It's a good deal for the space and the area.
FYI: We do not work for Braden Lakes, I work for the county and my husband is a athlete.

I am looking for an apartment in Bradenton and say this post and though I can not comment on Braden Lakes itself, the insurance requirement seems to be growing as it is required by many other apartments that i have checked out. The insurance requirement is "Renters Insurance" in case "The Renter" causes damage to the apartment. I once had someone live above me with a waterbed and their bed ruptured dropping the entire bedroom ceiling onto mine and damaging my stuff. The apartments insurance would cover the damage to thier building, but not my personal belongings. That fell upon the resposibility of the renter upstairs asit was not damaged by the propertys fault such as pipes or water heater leaks. Also many athletes do not start out being wealthy so maybe this is their step from the minors to the major league? I can not speak for them, but you do not know everyones circumstance. I have other properties I am concidering as well here in Bradenton, but I felt I needed to inform you on what I know about the insurance requirements that seem to be the norm lately.

HA HA HA HA HA I knew this was going to happened! Is the only way you people can hook unsuspecting and prospective tenants! Please! Read all reviews and ask questions! Again, This is the only place they make you pay for the mailbox keys and you also have to buy insurance. Could it be because maybe, jussssssssssst maybe they are not paying their own and if anything happens to you expenses fall into yours???Hmmmm! By the way, if you work for the county and your husband is an atlete...couldn't you afford a better place??? maybe a house??? hmmm! right! Recommending place to friends?? :-( With friends like that who needs enemies(if I ought to believe your fake review!) BUCKEYE??? (HE HE)MORE LIKE EYE ON MY TENANTS BUCKS!!! Renters insurance is to cover for the renters property. Properties have to have insurance specially if they still owe mortgage payments to any bank. Most properties in the bradenton area don't required a tenant to have insurance, Braden lakes is the exeption to the norm. These individuals charge for anything and EVERYTHING that they can get their sneaky ways to charge for. Beware prospective tenants!!! Go during the evening hours, knock on doors and ask tenant exactly how they feel about this place. Go ramdonly at least a few times before you find yourself in their deceifful web.

Here we go again Mr/Mrs Anonymous, First of all, you "you people" statements show your ignorance!! That is funny. Please tell me you are not a neighbor of mine! I would like to MAKE SURE you are not living in or around my building!!! So you want us to sit around and read all of you negative and anonymous reviews?? One doesnt have enough time or care for your stupidity or unhappiness. What are you trying to say about the above post that they work at the county and her husband is an athlete??? What do you consider a better place? I moved from Colonial Grand due to bugs! Is that a better place to you? (Colonial Grand also REQUIRED me to have renters insurance)! Get you facts straight and move! We dont need neighbors like you.
