Personally, I was not in love with this place. It was clean and bug free, so no complaints there. I lived on the third floor overlooking the tennis courts. Third floor was nice because it was quiet. Can you believe they call the tennis court a "view" though(they charge extra for views)' Also, I payed extra for the washer/dryer and for 3 months our washer and dryer were out of commission! And for the few days they worked during those 3 months, they leaked all the way into our kitchen. It takes maintenance a long time to get around to doing anything. The apartment community changed hands 3 times in the 7 months I rented. Also, we witnessed a fight in our apartment building(building 12), and had to call the police. We ended up having to go to the courthouse to give our statements a month or so after the incident. Another fight we heard on the second floor was so loud that we called the police and it was very frightening. I didn't know what happened, but I knew it sounded very bad. Talked to the police, but no courthouse statement. There was also a car that got pretty badly messed up, but the staff said it was the guy's ex girlfriend that did it. Pool had frogs in it, so I was too scared to swim in there. Also, it's not heated. The tennis courts are always busy, so don't plan to play on them. Complained about railings and outside lights being broken several times(I was pregnant, so the railings were a big deal), but they never got fixed. Overall, it's not a place that is disgusting or smelly or old, and while there was some safety issues in our building, they were always domestic(between boyfriends and girlfriends, but no stranger issues). I would not rent here again, I am glad I pay extra and stay at the Yacht Club. Beautiful and much more bang for your buck! Now that I have a daughter, I wouldn't stay anywhere where safety or maintenance was a concern.

I think people should keep their negative comments to themselves. It's a rental place hello......you have a choice to live anywhere.
