i?m sure anybody in the market for living in this slum isn?t going to bother looking on the internet for reviews on it, but just incase any of you are going to make the mistake of living here
first off, let me say my roommates car was stolen. i think to combat this problem, they installed a flood light (just outside our door, on only our building) which did nothing but attract bugs which flew into your apartment the minute you opened the door.
our downstairs neighbor liked to get into yelling and throwing arguments with his girlfriend at 3 in the morning...and usually didnt stop until 6am or so. the kind of people who live here are...well, i?m sure you?ll be able to tell if you just drive around the parking lot. which you can do anytime, even though its the GATES of bradenton. these GATES usually work about 2 or 3 days a month; the rest of the time one or both sides of the gate is broken. so people or friends of people who live in the apartment actually go and break the gates so they dont have to deal with them. which tells you what kind of people live there.
if you?re going to wash your clothes, you?d better pray the white trash family downstairs or the mexican family across the hall didnt have the same idea that day, because ALL of the washers AND dryers will be taken up for a ridiculous amount of time. there are at least 10 washers and 10 dryers, but these people manage to use all of them consecutively for hours at a time.
the pest control usually leaves a card when they come by...which leads me to believe that the last month or so we were there, there was no pest control.
rent is relatively cheap so i guess that explains the type of people that live there. the only way you can feel safe living there is if you have some serious underworld connections.
the gates of bradenton is a serious slum. i only lived there 3 months, but my poor roommate lived there for at least 8. i?ll see if i cant get her to post a review; she?ll have a LOT more to say about this place than i did.
