I lived in Sarasota and had little time to find an apartment and thus had to move here, when we were doing the paperwork with the leasing agent there were red flags. It took them over a week to proccess our applications, and then when we moved in there was no walk through, we were told to fill it out ourselves and bring it in "whenever". Nobody cleaned anything but the carpets, dead roaches were still in the cabinets and under the toliet was orange from rust due to a leak. Also the dish washer was broken the day we moved in. As far as the "Gates" that is a total lie. I have lived here since Feb. and I think that for the irst two months that I was here that I only saw the "Gates" closed 3-6 times at the same time. Another "great feature" loud music from your neihbors at 2 or 3 in the morning, followed by someone yelling right outside your window in the courtyard that is always covered in trash.I left my bike outside to dry while I took a shower in broad day light and you guessed it someone stole it, funny enough though my neihbor was able to "find" it about 2 days later. Another fun thing to look forward to is laundry the facility is huge 10 washeres and dryers in each and 4 locations sounds goreat right'' Wrong unless you do you laundry when the crack heads are sleepign forget it because one person with a car full (seriously) will come and do all of their laundry. We live on the bottom floor and upstairs (because of the great construction) everytime they go in the bed room and walk around it sqeeks loud. So they work on saturday at 5:30 am and i have the day off I still get up it's that loud. Oh don't forget the pet policy, the guy next door has a pit-bull mix that barks all the time, not to mention that the guy when he does pick up the "----" only leaves it in the parking lot, and you don't want to say anything cause who knows what he will do. Overall when my lease is up I'm going to run out of here, I found the place online and I think that it's the worse place I have everlived and I lived in New Orleans for 5 yrs from 1998-2003. The office is never opened and when it is they give you the run around as to why your water pressure is still low and your drains are clogged and your dishwaser is still broken and it's may and you moved in feb. The one good review that this place had on this site is a crap and was probley done by some one who is in corporate, the site that i saw it on was just an add with the ammenities and no comments . Run while you still can, because if not you might not leave with what you came in with, across the hall the chic had her apartment broken into twice since last year, comforting isn't it''''''
