Problems that I have had here include
1. Roaches, regarless how clean my place is, I have had issues... havce to constantly ask for them to spray.
2. loud neighbors. Theh rental office is nice about it, they will take care of that for you.
3. people hanging out in the hallways. Yep, apparently it is a nice place to sit and smoke or do some braiding (this has become an issue lately).
4. Barking at all hours.... not getting around that since this is after all an apartment complex
Good things about here
1. the maint. staff. Very good about getting things done in a timely manner
2. You pay rent online.
3. convience of shopping
4. plenty of parking
5. The staff. April sends emails all the time if there are issues on the grounds, which is nice. The staff is not bad, I have seen worse (i.e.Palm cove just next door).
So you have to weigh things. go ahead and try them out. If you are a new family, need a cheap place for a starter, go for it. The problem is when you renew. It sucks. I have lived here for 3 yrs now, always on time with the rent, no real issues, but this time, with my renew for a lease is here, I notice that my apartment, which I pay $870 per month, is going for less than $700. Approached the leasing office, and they are not willing to budge... so it is time to say goodbye. If you look here for a place, be sure to play "name that rent" since they have all sorts of prices posted all over the place, and dont forget the $50 in fees per month for water, trash and some sort of a fee to process this (its $12).

What painting idea ? I moved in 2008 did I miss something else ? This is the fourth Equity Property I have lived on but sad it does not function as well as the others.. Nothing like having your neighbors owning 4 pets when the max is 2 and heaven forbid they should put a leash on their doggies and walk them when it's so much easier for them to just open the door and let the doggies out to go by themselves; and the cats they let out to roam around all day.. Not too safe for the pets but they must be smart doggies to be able to clean up after themselves.. And then there is my neighbor who has by himself assigned himself two special parking spots and Lord help anyone that tries to park in them he will put up a stink.. I guess we pay rent but don't count.. Office staff ????
