the yacht club is supposed to be an upscale community, i am not impressed. I moved from the springs on sr 64 in january of this year. in my year at the springs i never had any complaints. the neighborhood was quiet, the staff was very pleasant and personable the units were very well kept and parking was amazing. I live on the third floor, near the front of the complex. i bartend and when i come home late at night it is not unusual to have to park 3 buildings away. this is annoying and i dont feel safe seeings how the gate is a joke, one person opens the gate and a train of people can follow them in. guests of mine have only had to use the call box to get in prob 5 times in these past 8months ive lived there. not to mention the poorly constructed building so i hear ever footstep up the stairs and doors slamming as people make their way in and out of my neighboring units. childrens toys clutter every breeze way so that you have to step over them to get to your stairs. the vallet trash is also a joke, there is constantly garbage and overflow and debris in the breeze ways as well. kids always in the road on scooters and bikes, oh and dont forget the go carts. people dont pick up after their dogs there is always piles of you know what on th walk ways and all over the grassy areas that lead to the appartments. my car as well as my roomates has been hit in the parking lot. the only good things about the yacht club are the gorgeous pool, location, and the matinence guys are awsome. i cant wait to leave.
