Better off living in a box

Years at this apartment: 1996 - 1996
I used to live at Woodcrest in unit L-4. Thankfully it was the end unit because the sound traveled through the cement upper floor from the apartment next door and vice versa. The maintenance was beyond poor. The pool was a septic hole. I wouldn't have washed my dog in it. They decided to add new front walks while I was there, but they didn't take into consideration that you had to open your front door. The walk was just as wide as the door and they left a 4 inch high drop off which I tripped on and hit the stucco wall head first. I needed stitches.
The neighborhood was bad then, but its much worse now. Before there were no fences and the police could watch from the road. Now there's privacy fences that hide more than just your belongings.
When I was there, the places were rather run down and kind of seedy. My front door had been kicked down at some point and repaired. Made me feel ever -so -safe. My dog kept staring at the wall in the upstairs bedroom. I listened but never really heard anything. After I moved out, the next tenant's little girl heard scratching noises. THe father knocked a hole in the wall releasing the over 100 bats living in the wall. I'm glad I moved out when I did. I was young then- just in my early 20's. They let me live there with my friends and parties. I can't imagine that anyone over 25 would want to live there.
My car was broken into and stuff was stolen and this was when the place was still half way to nice. The best bet is to not live in Bradentucky at all. The whole city has gone to pot. Look in Saint Pete. At least Saint Pete has things to to.
