One Bad Property Manager

I lived at the Asprey for 3 years. The apartment complex is great. The only draw back is the manager. Linda is THE WORST HUMAN BEING I EVER MET. When something broke in the fitness area it took MONTHS to get it fix. When you spoke to her about it, she would insist that it had only been broken for a couple of weeks. Then there were the gates that were always broken. One night, someone smashed my car window and broke into my car. The police came and made the comment that if the gates would close it would help to prevent this. As he said "those gates always wide open all the time". The next day, I went to speak to Linda about the break-in. Before I could finish my statement, she immediately stopped me and said "we do not cover damage for break in"! I tried to inform her about the gate being always open and that the apartment complex had a crime issues (other tenants there had also been broken into). She kept insisting that nothing could be done and the gates would not stop criminals. Keep in mind, I was no asking her or the Asprey to pay for the damage. I just wanted her to be aware of the criminal activity. She should no concern for the safety of the residents. So after that, I promptly moved to another apartment complex.

Surely, you didn't live at Asprey. There is brand new equipment in the fitness room and has been I know of at least one year, so what is this person talking about. The gates have occasionally been broken but that is because some body has run into it by tailgating and shouln't be here away. And...funny that we have not heard anything about all of these so called break-ins. Sounds like someone didn't get a cash settlement of some sort and the opportunity to assist all of us with our ever increasing insurance rates. Anywhere you live you could be at risk for a house break-in or car break-in. Get real. By the way, I did pull the crime statistics for Asprey. I encourage others to do the same. Then you will see what kind of people write these unfair and cruel reviews. Shame on you!

I guess you are not aware that machines do brake, such as the cables. Regardless of how new the machines are. In addition, you obviously did not read my comments where I mentioned that "I was not asking her or the Asprey to pay for the damage". Since the repairs were just under my deductble, I did not file a claim and paid for the repairs. Don't worry about my loss raising your insurance bill!
