I lived at Brandon Palms in the late 80's and although the homes needed some maintenance work from time to time, we never had the problems that are encountered now.
When you call the office you get an unprofessional person on the other end of the phone. Then the same excuses are used every single time you call....my manager would know, my manager is off property, my manager says....you get the drift. I called recently for a maintenance problem. I called all day long from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and received no return call or answer, just the recorded message that if I was getting this message they were out showing property! I was told the next day that this person was in the office the day before, but by herself as her manager was...you got it..off site at a conference and that she had placed the phones on answering machine. Why she could not call me the day before who knows..but in the meantime my problem had been taken care of..so someone must have heard my message and taken care of the proble. Anyway, I have been here for a couple of years and like other tenants pay my rent on time, do not call for maintenance very often and in general mind my own business. I have had more than enough and am looking for somewhere else to move to when my lease comes up for renewal. I am tired of the parking hassles, the noisy neighbors, the working on cars in the parking lots, the rude, inconsiderate managers and staff. These apartments used to be some of the nicest in Brandon. I love the size of the rooms, but enough is enough.
