Let's see, been here for a few years now, and the first management team that was under Pinnacle, was absolutely great. Now...on to the new management, wait..they manage something' Oh, that's right, they manage to never be available, and constantly "forget" about complaints, and act as though it is a new complaint when you ask about the status of your previous complaint. The current occupants of the office are far from what I would call management. I have had complaints in with them for almost a year about problems that exist in the apartment, and the community at large. Not once have I gotten satisfaction. The only time they seem to fix items is when they are threatened with having the county called on them for possible code violations. They let a good size water leak from a busted pipe go on for over 3 weeks, with no intention to fix. They can't service apartments on a single basis for water problems, because they "don't know" where the building turn off's are, and thus shut the entire complex down to fix one apartments water problems. The office staff is extremely rude, and lie to the tenants about problems when they call or show up at the office. I've been put off on several occasions when showing up (even when I called and told them I would be down) to take care of problems. They invade my privacy by servicing the apartment (when they bother to actually fix something) without prior notice, even though I have requested prior notice on several occasions. I have had to ask them repeatedly to keep my door shut when they are working in my apartment, instead of leaving it open as if it were a barn. Multiple neighbors/other tenants have had same/similar complaints, and problems. Noise levels are increasing due to people throwing "block parties" outside with doors of vehicles open, and all sorts of loud music being played. The neighborhood is slowly but surely turning into something similar to Section 8 housing. When they were asked who owns the complex now, and for a higher level of management to voice concerns to, they told us that it was, "not for us to know!' After the current lease is up, I don't care if I have to move into a shoebox, it would be better than these "luxury" apartments that they are trying to pawn off on anyone that can write legibly in crayon on the lease. This place is a joke. Which is a shame, since it has the makings of a lovely community, with large apartments, and shaded, friendly surroundings. Brandon Palms needs an overhaul of the maintenance crew, as well as office staff. Maybe with some people that actually cared about the community, and treated us like residents/neighbors, instead of just tenants and customers, it could go back to the "luxury" status that the sign out front implores. Otherwise...run far away and check somewhere else for your place to live, it isn't worth the nightmare that can be dealing with the management here to get even the simplest of requests handled.
