In response to whomever is talking unkindly about the office and maintenance staff here at Brandon Palms. First off I have never had a problem with Iesha. She has been nothing but professional and courteous to me. Maybe if you treat her with respect you will get some in return.
Second Lisa is better than any manager I've seen here in the last 9 mos. At least you actually see her ON THE PROPERTY!!!
Third, the maintenance crew are not miracle workers they do the best they can. There are only three of them and well over 200 apartments here, you do the math. They come in early and they stay late. They work through lunch most days. So please stop whining about such trivial things as "they didn't shut my door" Shut it yourself and bite your lip because after your maintenance call they have 25 more.

I am sure the manager wrote that, everybody knows that place is a dump...you don't have to live there to realize that.

You see everyone, this is another reason not to move here. Although I have never posted, I must side with the residents rather than with the incompetent staff. As you can see, by that response, that is the attitude you can expect from the office staff here. Very rude and impersonal. If I were a lawyer representing one of your many abused clients, you (whomever you are defending the staff) wouldn't even have your job. and as far as Iesha is concerned, she would have been fired months ago for her lack-of-professionalism and clear unwillingness to get off her ass to appease the residents. Who do you think you are and where do you get off telling people about the hardships of managing an apartment community? Your tone represents the fact that you dislike your job, so therefore its more appropriate to blame the people who put requests in and pay their rent, right? Get over it; if your staff is that stressed then you need to hire more people to complete the jobs. It's a simple and efficient method, and by collecting as much money as you do for rent (which is a joke considering the kind of shape the apartments are in) you could even hire some contractors to come in and do the work for you. Then, at least the job would be done right and you wouldn't have to worry about the residents. You would have all the time in the world to sit in the office and visit with your friends and chit chat rather than answering the phone and actually doing something counter-productive, such as improving the community. Don't go on a public website and humiliate yourself even further with these sob stories of long days and nonsense of how this is such a great place to live. We know the truth and we as residents don't care! You are paid to manage, so do your job! Don't expect sympathy from those who work hard for their money and expect their end of the deal by paying rent here. If there are rules to which we must abide by on a lease, understand you can be legally held responsible if someone gets sick or an injury results from your faulty apartments! Under Florida law you are required to make the property safe. You are not doing this. Just wait, by not keeping up the property, the day will come when you will be sued for millions because of willful neglect- which is obvious to everyone who lives here. Don't even expect the residents, or as you consider us, "tenants", to be anymore respectful than you are in the office. If you have the time and energy to go on a website and defend your ------ management, then you are perfectly capable of finding the right people to get the job done. I don't even want to see anymore of your posts until you actually have ground to stand on to defend yourself. Luxury Apartments? Ha! Simply put, this is the birth of a ghetto.
