Wow where do I start....When I first moved into Brandon Palms Apartments I heard bad things about it but decided it may just be other peoples opinions. I lived there a year and a half and recently moved out. The office staff is and was horrible. Never being in the office always blowing situations off and never sending mant. for work orders. When I first moved in this complex I rented a town house. The house was horrible. I had dirty mildewed carpets, my toilet would over flow all through out the first floor and my garbage disposal never worked. One night I took a shower in the upstairs bathroom only to come down stairs and my light fixture was pooring out water. When I contacted SUPPOSABLE 24hour maint. the gentlemen took an hour getting out there and told me that he does not get paid for overtime to shut my power off and wait until the next day that this was normal in a tub!!!! After days and weeks of complaining they finally agreed to move me to a two bedroom apartment where the stove was disgusting the blinds were broke the back porch screen door was falling off the hinges and there were a couple of flaws in the walls. When I made them a list of the things that were wrong they never came out to fix this problem. I spoke with management several times and this never seemed to work so eventually I did not have a back screen door it fell off. When my lease was almost up I planned on staying until my physco ex boyfriend whom I eventually had to put a restraining order on and did not live with me and was not on my lease called and spoke with the manager whom told him that I was staying in my apartment and disclosed my personal information. I then moved out when my lease was up with out the months notice because everytime I would tell them something my ex would call and get information from them. Now they are charging me for no one months notice and a broken blind and back door which was messed up when I moved in they took my deposit and are still trying to get me for 800.00. Now I am not an angry employee and my rent was always on time. I do not recommend this place at times it was ok as long as nothing was wrong with your apartment and you did not need maintanence.
