UNHEALTHY LIVING CONDITIONS - TERRIBLE BUSINESS ORGANIZATION

My father-in-law died on March 8, 2007. He had been a resident at Brookside Manor. His lease had just been renewed starting March 1, 2007. His daughter, my wife, received a registered letter from Brookside which said: "You breached your Lease by moving out of your apartment prior to the scheduled expiration date of your lease".
To make a long story short, they refused to return the Security Deposit because he moved ahead of time. The man did not move, they carried him out. He died. I think it should be known that this is a technique used by Brookside Manor Apartments to keep the money given in good faith as a Security Deposit.
This particular apartment had several times flooded from leaks from adjoining apartments and the walls and carpeting were covered with mold spores and mildew. (I have photos) The Health Department was called in and the apartment management was cited and told to make the necessary renovations for a more healthy atmosphere. The wet carpeting was made to dry with electrical equipment that was used and charged (not reimbursed)to his electric bill. They just painted over the mold. There was still evidence of mold in the closets as of two weeks ago.
I would not recommend anyone to move into this place.
