I was with Lucerne for 3 years. The apartment layouts were great, I never had an issue with parking close to my bldg., and the management (meaning specifically the two women who were/are the managers) were great. The rest of the staff in the office were some of the most surly and disrespectful people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. They never alerted anyone of their packages that I know of, any problems that arose they would do nothing. But, enough with the bad seeds; the maintenance staff were great! The grounds were accomoadting. Another negative was that they always had gate crashers (folks that would bump the gate to force it open). This meant broken security gates all the time and solicitations on a regular basis. Do not rent on frontage to Providence (it will be loud), but the parking was better on that side. Serious mold issues (frame construction in FL!'). Max pet size is 40lbs. W/D hook-ups and rentals ($30/mo.) and facilities on ground.

I recently moved out of the area, having rented at Lucerne almost 4 years. I was never treated poorly, the staff was always pleasant, management has alwas been more than helpful, kind and considerate. Maintenance was superb. Very nice clean and neat place to live. The community management is not responsible for destructive residents. Anne
