I moved a relative out last month. Their apt. had mold damage still from 2004 fall hurricane. Staff hadn't bothered to clean it up timely and mold infested the wall, carpet, and personal items in closet.
This company is also trying to keep my relative damage deposit to replace the rug the hurricane damaged. I'll probably need to involve Channel 8 and send pictures/ documentation that prove the hurricane damage/negligence of the apt. management. I'm also going to check with government agencies whether this is considered profiteering from the hurricane...as they probably made insurance claims.
Also, it is not uncommon to see tenants taken away by EMS from overdoses. Also, the trash bin was set on fire before we left. Weekends are the worst, loud music, fighting tenants.
Before I could move my relative, there was an attempted home invasion.

Maybe the trash bin fire kept the rat population down.
