I would not want my worst enemy to live here. My husband and I moved in pk in 2007. I was 8 months pregnant and we needed something fast. I fell in love with the model they showed us. New carpets, appliances, the whole nine yards. We filled out an app. gave our deposit and waited. They finally called us a week later to let us know we were approved. The apartment they gave us was NOTHING like what we were showed. The appliances were OLD, carpets DISGUSTING. It didn't even look like they cleaned the place after they old tenants moved out. Of course EVERYTHING was documented on our walk through. The office staff was nasty. Maintance was even worse. Unfortunatly we had to stay for a yr. Every week something was breaking or going wrong in the apartment. The neighbors are noisy and not courteous of others. There is ALWAYS noise. Break-in, guns going off, drug deals...You name it and it happens in Plantation Key. Cops are CONSTANTLY driving around the lot. They sent around notices stating that garbage was not to be left outside your door or you'd be fined. If only that were true. My neighbor left her garbage out for 2 weeks and let it pile up before finally taking it to the dump. We have finally moved out and moved on. We got our deposit on August 25, deposited it into our bank only to find out my bank has placed a hold on the funds because the check was returned. Hopefully it will clear tomorrow or they're going to have one pissed off woman on their hands. What kind of business gives someone there deposit back in the form of a check that isn't any good'' We had to give a money order and I think it is fair that they should have to give on back in return. If you're thinking of moving in here I would look elsewhere. IT IS NOT THE PLACE TO RAISE YOUR FAMILY!!!
