Thank God I only have a 7 month lease b/c Providence Park is the worst. I thought it was better than Plantation Key but I was wrong.
When I first moved in I didn't think it was that bad. The apartment is small but I liked the layout until everything started going down hill. I hate coming to my apartment now.
First....the maintenance sucks. The emergency line isn't really for emergencies. You have to wait almost 3 days for them to come out to your apartment and fix anything or they just ignore your message all together. And when they finally come out to fix something it takes 4 of them to figure how to do it and when they come into your apartment they are rude and act as if its your fault when something breaks. So many things break and leak...all the appliances are old or reused. And I wouldn't doubt it if the maintenance staff were selling drugs. It seems like all they do is ride around on their golf carts all day. Also...their office staff are of no help with anything....the apartment management company (Garden Management)is rude and unprofessional.
And how about the bug situation.There are a lot of trees around and somehow huge, brown spiders keep on getting in to the apartment. Its nasty and disgusting. I hate having to be paranoid about walking into bathroom or my apartment at that. I haven't see much of a roach problem but still there are otehr small bugs that get in. I have to spray my apartment all the time with raid in hope I can get the bugs to go away. They never spray or ask to spray. I don't call about the spiders b/c I'm sure they wouldn't help. And there are other bugs besides spiders.
And the parking lot isn't lighted very well. It doesn't make you feel safe.
Overall....this apartment complex is horrible. It might be cheap but its not worth it. Spend a little extra money a month and get a good apartment. B/c I would never ever reccommend for anyone to live here. I can't wait to move in a couple of months.
