i have lived at Providence Park for 10 months... i never really had a big problem with the place until recently. when i first moved in the celing was leaking and there was really bad water stains on the ceiling. maintanence came to fix the problem, went to my upstairs neighbor and found out that they had a leak under their sink and instead of calling it in they put a bucket under there which was overflowing. once that was fixed they spray painted the ceiling to cover up the stains. its true that the walls are paper thin, i could hear my neighbor and his girlfriend watching tv, fighting, and having sex. but i am sure they could hear the same thing coming from my place. i agree that there are many drug dealers and partiers in this neighborhood. my neighbor in fact was dealing drugs right outside of my building and apparently there was an incident that involved him stealing a car or something like that... i could hear the cops talking to him outside of my door. i did have a problem with roaches once but when i called the bug people came right away. well... like i said i didnt have a huge problem until recently... sunday in fact when my toilet overflowed for 7 hours while i wasnt home and i came home to 4 inches of standing water throughout my whole apartment. not only did the apt complex not take any responsibility the property manager, Rudy, told me that basically they werent going to do anything about it, let me break the lease, or provide me with another apt to stay in. the water leak was so bad that it flooded all the way in the hallway to the mailboxes and into my neighbors home. needless to say i moved all of my stuff out of the apt and put it into storage. the carpet cleaning people came out to extract all of the water and it took 4 days, 2 fans, 2 heaters and the a/c being down to 60 degrees for the carpet not to be sopping wet. the apartment smells like funk and its toxic to breath in there. the water leaked into the walls and there is mold growing on the walls now. they finally approved to let me out of the lease... but it took 4 days to get that taken care of... i am still without a home for a few more days but WHAT A MESS! i wouldnt reccomend moving there but if you have to make sure its not in building 411 because that building is going to have a massive mold problem soon!!!
sorry this was so long!!! happy reading!

What did you expect from a place run by a bunch of stinkin' Puerto Ricans?
