When we first moved in, 2006, it was awesome, we left in 2008 b/c it turned to ----! Maintenance sucks, the office workers are horrible greedy pieces of crap. We left when they started renting to lowlife drug dealers and trashy scum; it got so bad that I would not leave my apartment at night w/o my glock. Several apartments every month were robbed; cars were constantly being broken into regularly, cars vandalized with broken windows, slashed tires. 2 weeks before I moved out I had my gun pointed at a would be robbers head and the offices response was oh, you must have been mistaken . Yep, your re right, my mistake living here. On top of all that, when we turned in the keys at the end of our lease they refused to do a walkthrough so we could prove that the apt was clean and undamaged, 3 months later they with held our deposits and charged us another $685 for damages and cleaning fee s and placed us in collections. This place is NOT Cheap, $1100 for a 3 bedroom which is really 2.5 bedrooms. Their Access gate as they now call it never works and after 2 years living there STILL don t work . When we moved in it was a Security gate but since there is nothing secure about an opened gate they changed their reference to it. Office staff sucks, they are rude arrogant morons except when you come in to sign a lease then they kiss your ass and throw rose peddles at your feet but after you sign forget it. Did I mention fire alarms that no one responds to Office workers are not contacted, Fire dept is not contacted, it up to residents to make the calls. Oh and they unarmed rent a cop security truck that drives through occasionally at night does wonders for making you feel safe. I can go on and on and on but you get the idea. Any one posting nice stuff like the asshat on 1/08/2009 who posted Not bad for the price is one of those dumb biaches in the office trying to fix their rating on here OR 07/02/2007 Good Apartment, nice people, great office staff what a load of crap lol
I guess we are just waiting for some one to die before this place gets investigated

WOW-sounds like you have a horrible experience, but remember, we do not all have bad experiences. I moved in here back in 2005 and I still live here. I came from Sabal Park Apartments where there are drug dealers in a bad neighborhood. You don't know what BAD is until you go there.

Hey to each his own, while it may (in your opinion) be better then sable park it is STILL not a place i want to raise my family. If you are willing to accept the lesser of the 2 evils thats fine but Providence Place is no place i'd recommend for anyone to live till they clean it up. But, money talks and thats all they care about
