These apartments are the absolute worst I have ever lived in! I live below a group of teens that are the loudest neighbors in the world and the Manager refuses to do anything about it. They claim they can't do anything for noise yet the rules specify a 10:00pm noise rule!. The floors are real thin so you hear the slightest noise above you.
At night the apartments become "The Hood" with cars going through at all hours of the night playing loud music and people walking the apartments screaming and what not.
I hate This Place! And I can't move until the lease is up. Please do not move here...You will regret it.

I work in property management and they do have to take care of noise complaints, its their job. I would go to corp if they don't do anything about it or get an lawyer.

I live in the same property community and disagree with you about the apartments and the manager. I live on the 1st floor and have never had a problem with my upstairs neighbor even though they have young children and teens. You seem upset that the apartment community hasn't done anything about your noise complaint, but how do you know they haven't? Have you stalked your upstairs neighbors to see if they have received any notices or calls about noise? I'm guessing that you think they haven't done anything because the teens still make noise, but I'm going to tell you a secret: teens usually don't follow the rules, even after receiving a letter, I know it's unbelievable but it's true. I'm sure that the office has done everything it legally can but to evict somebody I think you need more than a few noise complaints. Instead of being so negative have you tried talking to your neighbors upstairs and explaining your situation, people usually do the right thing when confronted. If that still doesn't work why don't you try working with the office, document every case of when they are making noise after 10:00 pm, so the office can pursue a legal eviction. Your other complaints about the complex turning into a “hood at night are totally inaccurate. I didn't realize that cars driving through here with loud music (I have never heard anybody screaming) turned this place into the hood. I have lived here for almost a year and I have never been afraid to walk from my car to my apartment even late at night, which is something that I would probably be afraid of if this was a hood. To say that it turns into a hood is completely outrageous. However, I do see how the office is trying to stop the issue with the cars, I have seen the cops drive through many times throughout the night. What more can the office do? In summary, get over it, no matter where you live (even if it's a house you own) there will always be noisy neighbors and noisy cars. Instead of being negative about the situation ask what you can do to make it better.
