**Note if you read a positive review it was written by the office staff.** I moved in a few months ago thinking this was a decent place to live. The office staff are great to you before you sign a lease after that good luck you have signed away freedom and happiness. The place was a horrible decision. Gangs of kids roam the parking lots and breezeways, cars keep getting broken into and the noise from the outside and other apartments is irritating. The office staff finds reasons to come into every apartment each and every week, dictating rules that are not in the lease and absurd (i.e. you cant have folded clothes sitting out inside your apartment they must be put away, you cant air dry dishes). The staff treats the residents like this is a section 8 apartment complex or that this is the projects. Don't live here the place is a nightmare.

Ok, let me first make clear, I am NOT office staff. I'm a teacher at one of the local schools, as is my wife. We are, however, residents of the apartments for the last year and a half. Perhaps you haven't been paying attention to the notices they've been sending out. The cars being broken into are a COUNTY wide problem that has been going on recently, it's not just our complex. And there has certainly been a stepped up presence of police officers patrolling and security increased to try to combat it. The numerous inspections were because the complex is in the process of being sold, and the buyers were wanting to see what they were buying. Is it really so bad wanting places to look decent when you're showing them off for a buyer? Unless you're one of those slobs that leaves your clothing strewn all over the apartment anyways, at which point it becomes a health hazard. But that's another story. hehe And of course there's the ever popular "gangs of kids" comments that people will apply to any group of teens or preteens that hang around outside their home. Noise? Nope. When there has been, response has been swift and efficient every time I've had a complaint. The one group that refused to quiet down was gone after a couple of months. I haven't been mistreated by any of the kids. But then I actually speak kindly to them when I see them, as opposed to those who seem petrified whenever they see 3 or 4 of them together (which is often as big as these so-called gangs are). Face it, kids hand around outside and socialize, and that's not a crime. They aren't doing anything to you, disturbing you, or making noise, unless you consider them standing around outside talking to their friends a crime. In which case, I suggest you get out and start getting to know them. You might be surprised how nice they really are. |

I am also not a member of the staff and I stand by my positive review that was posted a couple of weeks ago.

yeah, well when they are out side YOUR door smoking pot you write back. also the cars keep getting broken into because it takes the cops so long to get here and this place is crappy. i would like to know where you are. the parking on the weekend is horrible. the kids throw those little rocks all over the walkways and the bugs here are horrible. the staff does not respond quickly. and when something breaks, good luck. oh and if it's a weekend, you better stay with a friend. they'll call you for an emergency on monday morning... there are loud children in the breezeway constantly and have you heard about the murder here???? this IS section eight, by the way....
