New owners letting apartments go to crap. To top it all off their raising the rent and I mean RAISING THE RENT. Instead of worrying about security they are going to assign parking permits. Priorites are all messed up.

This apartment complex is HORRIBLE. They refuse to make it a safer environment for all the residents. The new company is focused on the landscaping rather than the safety. We had a meeting 9/13 about the incident that happened, and the majority of the new property managers focus was the landscaping and the new pool furniture they bought. Suggestions were made to make people more confortable and less fearful in their own home but were dodged immediately.Such as more lighting in the hallways, streets, and by the doors. His response to not being able to see someone through your own peep-hole was "your friends should call you on your cell phone before stopping by". His response to some security patrolling the complex was met with resistance. Whoever hired this incompetent guy to run this complex has made a huge mistake. I hope they realize it soon before it's too late. He also brought statistics of Orlando crime vs. Tampa crime. What I want to see are the statistics from Sterling Palms apartments crime rate vs. the apartment complex next door. I have contacted a lawyer and am taking the correct steps to get out before something happens to me.
