When my boyfriend and I moved into this place, I was so looking forward to apartment living. I learned my lesson, now we'll be more particular when we choose our next place.

First off, it's SO overpriced for the so-called amenities that you get. I mean, a tennis court… but if you want to bounce a basketball in it, you get thrown out. The swimming pool was always filled with hair, and had chips on the tiles that I kept cutting my fingers on. The only thing I did like about this place was the workout room.

The management staff was downright horrible. If you make one complaint they treat you like dirt, and glare at you when you come and pay rent.

The carpets are hard as a rock... not easy to walk on and downright dirty! And you're constantly stepping on something sharp in the flooring, cause they didn't put the molding on right.

The kitchen is extremely tiny. And the refrigerator doesn't open all the way because of the corner they stuck it in. You can only open it half of the way... and it's a VERY small refrigerator to begin with. And the pantry... or should I say WHAT PANTRY! It's so small you may be able to fit a few cans of food in there, but I wouldn't go overboard. There's no storage space whatsoever in the kitchen either. So if you have a lot of appliances, forget it!

The bathroom, while nice sized has it's disadvantages too. The hot water heater is so small, you can't fill the tiny bathtub up all the way.

The dog deposit is outrageous. We have a little Daschund, and the NON-REFUNDABLE deposit was $300!!! Ridiculous for such a small dog. They also state that you’re supposed to walk your dogs in certain areas. They even go so far as to put a notice on EVERY DOOR in the apartment complex. Yet there are folks that let their cats wonder all day and night, and they don’t ask them to keep them reigned in.

And my main problem was… they enter your apartment with NO warning, whatsoever. Twice they did this on me, once when I was in the shower, and the other, when I was asleep. The last one scared me, because I awoke to hearing somebody sit in my boyfriends chair, and I knew it wasn't him, because he was at work. When I later complained, and asked for at least a knock, they lied and said the guys did, and that they wouldn’t do anything about it. I mean... isn't this against the law' Shouldn't we have the right to have privacy in our own homes''' We knew they had come into our apartments before, cause we'd go off somewhere, turning the alarm on, and come back with it off. This happened quite a lot. Ever since, they treated us more rudely than before, glaring at us. I mean… I could have been raped, or even killed, and they wouldn’t even care.

They have been mean to us ever since we moved in. Every time we went to the office, they'd run to get away from us. One time I went, and I waited for 30 minutes for somebody, which is ridiculous. They are always rude and don’t care about the people that live here. They kick little kids off the tennis courts if they’re just bouncing a ball on it. They’re downright horrible!

Versant Place is far from Horrible. I have lived here for three years and love it. The office staff is very nice and they DO KNOCK before they come into the apt. THEY KNOCK THREE LOUD TIMES AND THEN YELL WHEN THEY OPEN THE DOOR HALF WAY.The pools are very clean and well kept. I am sure you are one of those residents who did not get their way with mangement and now saying -------- stories.

OH, PS... they are SUPPOSED to knock 3 times, but they do not. And the time that I was awake... they did not yell. Nice try though... who is this? The manager perhaps?
