I have lived here for almost 4 months and I've been very happy here. After looking at 10 apartments, I chose Versant because of the spacious floorplans which have a lot of character. I enjoy the large walk-in closets because I have a lot clothes. The lani is very spacious as well. The apartments come with an outdoor storage room that is outside the front entrance. It's big enough to fit a bicycle and lots of boxes/luggage/etc. I was also pleased that the walls came pre-painted a nice beige color. I don't like white walls. The bathroom is also very large, which leaves me plenty of room to get ready. Both bedrooms and the living room have ceiling fans which is nice. The A/C works very well. I am renting a washer & dryer for $35/month.

I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. I have never had any maintenance issues, but I they did follow up after I moved in just to make sure everything was ok, which I thought was nice. I had some wasps out in the lanai but they got rid of them for me right away.

One thing I really enjoy is that I've never heard my neighbors, which is rare for an apartment complex. I enjoy that it's quite and seems to be secluded, yet literally everything is within 2 miles... the mall, all kinds of restaurants, stores, Wal-Mart, Costco, Kohls, several gyms and tanning salons, etc.

The only problem I have had is parking issues! During the day it's not a problem. However, when I come home from work I usually have to park 2-3 buildings away from mine. I find it especially annoying because I live alone in a 2 bedroom and think there should be at least one designated space per apartment.

I also would prefer granite countertops and black kitchen appliances, but that's just me. The pantry in the kitchen is quite small, but better than nothing. The oven has no window. Strange.

Overall, I'm pleased with my experience here so far. I love the floorplan, the environment, and the convenient location to everything. I will probably renew my lease here if I don't buy a condo. Compared to apartments of my friends & co-workers in same price range, I find Versant Place to be much nicer and larger.
