I unfortunately still live at the Village,but waiting for my lease to end in a month.The new management takes forever to get back with you.The air conditoner is HORRIBLE.It is the loudest central air unit I have ever heard.The bedrooms stay hot,but it's to loud to keep your bedroom doors open.If your watching TV and the air comes on,you have to turn your TV way up to hear over the air conditoner.We had a air conditoning tech come look at it and he said they are loud because they are cheap.They only put a ceiling fan in 1 of the 3 bedrooms.There is gangster,ghetto looking people that live here.Our water bill was increased $35 a month.The reason it's increased is because they constantly like to water the property.Sometimes they water the same are 2 days in a row.The areas they water flood and sometimes they water mulch.I didn't know mulch needed to be watered.It will rain all day and they will have the sprinklers on.There is also a water restriction in hillsborough county,I guess they don't care.We had to complain about the watering times in the morning when most people go to work.You couldn't walk out of your apartment without getting wet.We had to complain several times,they only did something about it when we threatened to sue them if we got injured from having to run to not get soaked.I'm pregnant so it's not safe for me to run on wet moldy sidewalks.When matienance comes to fix something they really don't fully fix it,they just rig it to work and then you have the same problem in a few day or weeks.Some of the matienance guys are scary looking.The new management is raising the rent and the apartments aren't worth it.Some area of the buildings are rotting or molding and nothing is done about it.We've had a bug problem for the first time living in a apartment.Our neighbors had to be relocated to another apartment because the whole building had to be tented because there bug problem was so bad.The office staff is rude.We had moved in with a discount on our monthly rate.When the new management took over and we paid them our rent they were rude because we don't pay as much as they charge for rent.They let people walk there dogs wherever they want,not in the designated areas.I don't have animals and don't want to step in another person's dog ----.We've complained several times that they need to fix the plumbing but it never gets done.All of our sinks and toilets always have problems.The apartments weren't built good inside.There are alot of mistakes around the inside of the apartment.I can't lock my bedroom door because they didn't know how to install it right.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
