This is one of the WORST places to live! Well over priced! You are not notified what the TRUE fees are until you sign the lease and sometime even MUCH LATER! 1st floors are charged higher as is lake view (which is NOT lake view but parking lot) alledgedly because of the view!

NOISE IS OVERWELMING! You can hear everything your neighbors say or do! Be prepared for the smoke/fire alarms to go off when the wind picks up! The garbage compactor when its being used is noisy, as well as the water pump ringing all day and night!

If you want SEX ORGIES in the pool/hot tub/gym room/tanning booths/public restrooms then this is the PLACE FOR YOU! You can find much of the remains left over i.e., condoms, broken beer bottles and discarded clothes to name a few.

And FORGET About your toilets or garbage disposal working! You can sleep at night listening to your toilets bubbling back up at you!

The Pool is closed down 1x in 6 months for cleaning!

Roaches and ants are a MAJOR problem! Exterminator will tell you not to use raid!

Fees are abundant! If you want to move to another apartment due to problems etc. they will charge you $100 - $200 moving charge (no that is not for their people to help you move!) and a painting charge. Some people are even being told they MUST pay a 2 month rent on the old apartment as well as the new!

If you need to stay longer than your lease..be prepared for a fee of $100 per month in addition to the rent (which is up to the leasing agent as to what they will charge you and can be ALOT more than what you are currently paying!)

They will not resolve problems either! They tell you it's not their problem whether it's a confrontation with a drunk asking them to be quiet at 1, 2, or 3 in the morning, with a pet that had attacked another, or a owner or a pet who tells you to stay away from theirs because they will hurt you. They promise to take care of situations, but fall FAR FROM DOING ANYTHING TO RESOLVE IT!

Be prepared for other complexes to come on to the property or people sneaking through the "Gates" behind you! The arms do not prevent many cars from slipping through or trespassers from hopping the fences.

If you decide to move to this hole in the wall (and I could not fathom it), be prepared for a hell of a stay (literally)!

They promise you the WORLD but give you a DUNG HEAP!

Whoever wrote this most be a disgruntled old employee or who is getting the Westbury confused with another community. The Westbury is a great place to live and the staff is always helpful. I would recommend this beautiful community to anyone!

nope there are several people here who are unhappy with this place except we are STUCK in a lease agreement and WILL NOT pay the outrageous moving fees to break the lease! ask them what it would cost! guess you're a young kid who just moved out from mom and dad's house and they are paying for you to be out on your own!

I agree with unhappy and the one prior. I have lived in MANY apartment communities, this place is a SHAM!!! They should be soo ashamed of themselves, the MANAGEMENT is HORRIBLE and the BUG PROBLEM is RIDICULOUS. I would love to move out TODAY but can't because, I too, don't want to get slapped with ENORMOUS fees. DON'T LIVE HERE!!

It's not bad. I wouldn't recommend anyone moving in here thou. And being right next to lowes is a horrible spot to be.
