We just moved in about 3 weeks ago and just love the floor plan of our apartment. The neighbors are really quiet and the trash is never left out of an apartment (not like our last place of residence). The only major complaint I had was of a smoky smell coming from the bathroom area. I started sniffing around and realized the smell was coming from the second door in the bathroom which is one of those slider doors. I complained to maintenance and apparently I have not been the first one to make a complaint like this. He explained to me if anyone below or above me is a smoker and they are smoking in their apartment the smell creeps up through the cracks of this slider door and we have to endure this terrible smell. He also told me there is nothing they can do for me. I started waking up with headaches from this terrible smell, because the other side of the slider door is in the master bedroom. I was so fed up, I bought duct tape and sealed up the door on both sides. So far this seeemed to have worked, but I was very dissapointed they did not have a solution or have warned me ahead of time of this apartment. They do have other models that do not have the slider door, so if you decide to rent here and you are a non smoker, request an apt. without the slider door in the master bath.
