I have lived here for a few years and its become increasingly bad as far as crime goes.
Cars being broken into, tires being slashed, and now the latest, aggravated assault and a recent shooting.
There is a police officer who lives on the property, he gets a discount for living here, he doesnt respond to emergency calls and you can count on hearing a police chopter overhead in the late, late hours at least every other week.
The maintence cant maintain the trash and often, upon leaving to go to work, have been roadblocked by bags of trash that people just decide to dump on the street.
Mostly they put the trash bag on their car trunk or rooftop, and forget they have it there when they turn onto SR 60...now SR 60 is littered with trash that will one day cause an accident with all the debris in the road.
I can go on and on, but in a nutshell...I am going to be moving because I dont feel safe, the trash everywhere, and if your A/C breaks down on a friday night, maintence men are off duty until Monday and wont come out until then to repair it.
The walls and floors are extremely thin so if you like privacy and dont want the neighbors to hear anything...this is not the place.
Dont try and cook anything either...the simple task such as boiling water sets off the horrific smoke alarms that are truly deafening.
You hear them going off throughout the complex on a regular basis.

I have lived here since the apartments were built approx. 2002, mine was brand new when I moved in. The trash does pile up from time to time OUTSIDE the compactor not in the road! Come on! Be fair! People DO put their trash on top of their cars and forget about it, that is true. Occassionaly you will see a bag of trash on the side of the road inside the complex from that smooth trick. SR 60 does not have enough trash to cause an accident, idiot drivers cause the accidents around here from what I've seen.
The police helicopter does NOT fly over every other week either. You obviously are a VERY disgruntled tenant that NEEDS to move!
My AC went out over Memmorial Day weekend at 1 AM, someome was here the very next morning to fix it. I have NEVER had a problem with hearing someone next door yelling or anything else. Maybe I live in a building where people know how to act???
It is true about the smoke alarms...they are annoying but if there ever was a fire I would be happy for their LOUDNESS!
There is NO PERFECT complex when you have 300 some apartments with all types of people living in them. My ONLY complaint would be I wish I could have access to the pool and exercise room 24/7. The pool is locked at dusk and the exercise room is locked and only available during office hours due to unruly children/teenagers and vandelism by those unruly children/teenagers. I work 12 hour days so I am unable to use either very often. Other than that it's cheaper than anything else in town!!
