I moved in back in May of 2008, and was very impressed right away. They gave us a checklist to ensure everything in the apartment was working and in perfect condition. Upon discovering 2 of the outlets weren't receiving any power, I notified maintenance, and with in the hour the plugs began working. I appreciated that the walls were painted a light cream color instead of white. The community doesn't offer a self serve laundry room, but do provide every unit with full size washer and dryer, free of charge. The carpets were brand new when I moved in, showing no stains and having no foul odor. Several months after moving in, the area started to become more popular, especially among families with young teenagers. This became a problem, as the teens were constantly yelling, destroying the landscaping and just being a general nuisance. I filed a complaint about their language at all hours of the night, and was assured they would do something about it. Less than 2 weeks later, they blocked off the vacant lot where they were hanging out, and the problem seemed to take care of itself. My complaint was properly handled, and the problem solved. I felt like I was more than just a tenant, but someone who had a say in the community I live in. Maintenance is always busy, I've never seen them just sitting around. I had a problem with a beeping smoke alarm and they replaced not just the battery, but the entire alarm for me, free of charge. I had a pair of mini-blinds break, from pressure of going up and down, and they also replaced those, free of charge. Coral coves leasing office is well educated on the issues with in the community, and that lets me know that they care. During the day the property manager can be found in the office, and spoken to freely. She's listened to every thing I have had to say, and acted on it in a timely manner, with positive results. Now, Coral Cove is a quiet family community, with groomed landscaping, clean parking lots, and well lit roads. The front office has a good working relationship with local police agencies, and work hand in hand to keep this community safe. The presence of local cops doing drive throughs at night allows me to rest assured knowing that this community is proactive as well as reactive. I think the level of service you get from any staff around you, depends on your attitude. I've been courteous and polite with every person employed by Comtinental Group, and I've gotten nothing but the same from them. I do NOT work for Coral Cove or Continental Group, I'm an actual resident, I'm a mom and a wife, and I look forawrd to living here another year.
